It’s no secret Twitter is a valuable tool. Using Twitter you can spread industry news and photos, create a relationship with potential clients and employees, and most importantly— start a conversation about issues that matter to you. While any industry could benefit from those opportunities, it is critical for the manufacturing industry to take advantage of Twitter in order to compete with the outdated stereotype that manufacturing stops at factory conveyer lines and big machinery. The best way for prospective talent to learn about the vast opportunities in this high-tech industry, and the compelling issues being tackled, is to hear and see content directly from you.
Mashable published a list of 9 Manufacturers Doing It Right on Twitter, and while they are certainly great accounts, and great examples of how to put interactive content on Twitter— only two of them are actual manufacturers!
